My sister wrote a post about ten things that are unique about her. Having grown up with her I knew most of them. However, there were a few surprises! I thought the post was clever so I am stealing the idea.
So, here are ten unique things you may or may not know about me...or may or may not care about knowing.
How about you?
10. I LOVE to travel and dream of the opportunity to have homes throughout the world. I am intrigued by the thought of living in different cultures. Perhaps I'll be a wanderlust once my children are grown.
9. I enjoy alone time. I am totally recharged by a night alone in a hotel room surrounded by books, magazines, and the opportunity to sleep in a pitch black environment with no baby monitor.
8. I love chocolate which is really unfortunate since I am diabetic. A chocolate treat is rare and thoroughly enjoyed.
7. I read People magazine on two occasions: when sitting on an airplane and when sitting at Barnes & Noble all alone.
6. I am pretty anti-establishment and hate having a schedule dictated to me. Being a stay-at-home mother appeals to my personality much more than my former corporate life.
5. I cannot remember being bored for one second of my adult life. It blows my mind to hear people complain of boredom. Oh, if only I had more hours in my days to do all I want to do!
4. Working on projects totally jazzes me - just ask my husband. I spend my life teetering between the stress of juggling too many projects at once and being pumped about researching/implementing multiples ideas.
3. I am a consummate planner and thrive on lists. I LOVE planning vacations, house projects, you name it. My calendar book is my lifeline. I once lost my calendar for a few days and nearly came undone...sad. Very sad.
2. Ice cold Diet Coke either in the can or in a GLASS glass (with crushed ice) is my favorite.
1. I am totally technology impaired. Thank goodness I have teenagers. I have had my iphone for 4 months and still only have 2 songs on the ipod. I NEED HELP.

Oh my, you are your mothers daughter...sorry!
Alone time, me too, always have, always will. People magazine? Only when I get my hair cut and colored. Have never been bored? ME EITHER!!! and I have a lot more time under my belt than you do. In all my 64 years I NEVER remember being bored...same as you, never have enough time for all I want to do. Lists? gotta have them. Such a sense of accomplishment to mark everything off.
