Midwesterners in California

I am still processing thoughts and feelings from our time in California so I thought I would allow some photos to tell a bit about the fun parts of our trip.

We spent a day in Yosemite National Park with the family. Some of us then spent a day in Paso Robles (wine country south of Napa) and drove to the coast. We had to make it to the Pacific! We ate lunch in Morro Bay and saw seals and surfers - mission accomplished.

Enjoy...

Yosemite

El Capitan and Half Dome

Couldn't resist

Paso Robles - home to 170 wineries

Morro Bay

What a treat to be surrounded by such beauty, and to the locals we were in "dreary, ugly winter". Hmmmm...I could tell them a bit about the dreary winter time!

Gorgeous! Thank you so much for sharing the pictures. They make me all the more eager for my trip to San Jose in thirteen months. I will definitely be building in to the schedule some down time for taking in the countryside.

Daniel said we need to skip our week at the beach next year and go to Yosemite!

Aimee, a good reminder of the beauty God gave us when we have so many questions about why he took one away.....

I was once playing Trivial Pursuit with a guy in high school and he prounounced Yosemite as 'yowz' 'a' might' I cannot see the word without saying it like that now:)
