It is Spring Break around here - wahoo! Of course it snowed today...nice start to the week. Grrrrr.
Our big 'ol family has scattered in different directions for the vacation from school and schedules. Teenager #1 has baseball all week so he'll be home. Ah, the life of a committed athlete. However, he does get to sleep in all week and spend some time with his girlfriend. Teenager #2 is spending the week in Charleston, South Carolina with a friend. Mama is quite jealous. The "littles" a.k.a. the 3, 5, and 7 year old are spending Monday through Friday at my parents with their 5 and 10 year old cousins. Are my parents the bomb or what?!
They actually invited the five youngest grandchildren to spend five days at Fantasy Island, Indiana. My sister and I delivered the requested children to our parents today and were asked to vacate the premises soon after lunch. The grandparents and grandchildren wanted us out! Before leaving we created a blog for my parents to keep us updated and document the adventures of the week.

I have the luxurious gift of Tuesday through Thursday to do whatever I desire ALL BY MYSELF. On Thursday Mark and I are getting away for the night and then driving to Indiana to retrieve our three youngest children.
Do I have the greatest parents or what?
