There is never a dull moment around our home - and in our lives. Truthfully, I wouldn't want it any other way. I enjoy thinking back through the year and reminiscing about what all took place. 2010 was a year of accomplishments and fun!
The children provide most of the excitement around here.
Zack turned 18, graduated from high school, vacationed in Mexico with a friend, worked in the summer for The Brickman Group, and moved to Indiana in August to begin his college career at Ball State University. His first semester of college is in the books, and he was not only successful academically but is truly enjoying the college life!
Katie turned 16, got her driver's license, spent a week in NYC with the choir, performed in Les Miserables, continued to pursue her love of photography, and keeps busy in Chorale, Chamber Choir, and theatre. She is currently rehearsing for a spring performance in Sweeney Todd.
Marco turned 9 and loves swimming, golf, and being outdoors. He experienced his first Davis Men's Thanksgiving Hunting Extravaganza and loved it. He is amazingly creative with legos, k'nex and lincoln logs.
Gus returned to gymnastics and is still swimming, climbing trees, riding his bike, attempting to skate board, perfecting his dives, well you get the idea! As a 7 year old, he was invited to join the Davis Men's Thanksgiving Hunting Extravaganza - score!
Ana Lucia turned 5! She loves preschool, swimming, playing with friends, coloring, pretending, and anything involving paper, scissors, tape and a stapler!
Our travels in 2010 included Mexico for Mark & Aimee, Mexico for Zack, New York for Aimee & Katie, Young Life camp in Virginia for Zack & Katie, Torch Lake, MI for the family, Chicago for Aimee, Lake Erie for Mark, and hunting in Kansas for Mark & Zack.
We spent the holidays enjoying having Zack home for 3 weeks, watching movies, playing games, dancing to Just Dance 2 on the Wii (quite comical), and wonderful time with family and friends.
So blessed!
